Must have at least 6 months of verifiable experience.
The Teacher is responsible for the supervision and management of a classroom or a group of children in accordance with state licensing standards agency and center philosophy and policy, and national accreditation criteria. The Teacher reports to the Assistant Lead Teacher/Lead Teacher, Center Director/Senior Center Director
The Teacher, in conjunction with the Assistant Lead and Lead Teacher, plans and implements developmentally-appropriate lesson plans following the agency’s curriculum; works to meet the emotional, social, physical and cognitive needs of each child in the group; establishes and maintains a safe and child-oriented classroom environment; trains and supervises assigned staff; manages required records and reports; and ensures effective communications with families.
