Our Centers

Philosophy

We accept childhood as a specific state in human development. We maintain appropriate expectations and ensure a safe, healthy, nurturing child-focused environment. We recognize that learning is a lifelong and continuous process. We provide experiences that enable learners to advance to a higher level of competency. We understand how children grow and learn. We facilitate activities and environments that utilize the best practices for each child’s age, ability, and interest level. We support and respect close family relationships. We encourage family involvement and provide resources to foster positive family interactions. We value the individual strengths and talents of children and adults. We assess each person’s capabilities and incorporate these abilities in agency functions, organizations, training, and classroom activities. We assist children and adults as they develop positive self concepts. We establish relationships based on mutual trust and respect. We involve and include community resources. We organize field trips into the community. We schedule local organizations and professionals to share their expertise with our children, staff, and families. We work with the media and political groups to advocate for children’s rights.

Our Pre-K Program

In a facility designed for children, nurturing and attentive teachers plan and implement exciting activities. Each day, preschoolers select materials that encourage them to explore, create, cooperate, and gain independence. Children create masterpieces, meet and mingle with new friends, cook and taste food from different cultures, dance to the classics, discover the stars, pretend to be doctors, firefighters, police officers, bankers, and chairs of the board! They practice new words of a foreign language, stretch their muscles in gymnastics, and harvest the vegetables from the gardens they have planted.
